This place is all about the wine and cheese pairings. Great casual set up for tastings where you stand around large wine barrel bars and enjoy your tasting or wine and cheese pairings. 

There's way more than just wine though, they had a yummy deli, restaurants and even goats. 

Beautful winery with such a delicious restaurant, which was such good value. I still dream about the carrots, I know weird thing to dream about but they were honestly amazing. 

This is fine dinning without the tiny portions and the over inflated cost. 

We didn't get around to doing a tasting here but I have heard great things and their wine we had with dinner was just incredible. 

Of course this is only to be at the top of my list when it comes to wineries in the area, it's where I got engaged!! So definitely has a special place in my heart. But I don't think it's my bias that this is a recommendation, stunning views, great wine and super friendly staff. 

We love this place so much that we're looking at it for a wedding venue, so watch this space. 

If you thought Paarl was a hidden gem then check out Robertson, this place is a bit further away so rarely gets the international tourist traffic. But saying that there are activities set up for tourists and seems much more popular with South Africans. From boat trips to wine tours, do check it out.
